Meet The Doctors

Since 1977, Pediatric Dental Care has been serving the dental needs of the Centre County and surrounding communities.  As a new generation of Board-Certified Pediatric Dentists make their mark on our practice, we continue the same core family values established on day one. Take a moment to meet the Doctors and Team that so compassionately care for your child's dental needs.

Dr. G. Matthew Kremser, DMD

Dr. Matt grew up in a military family, traveled the country, and finally settled in State College in 1993. He graduated from State High in 1996. Dr. Matt pursued his D.M.D. degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, and completed his residency in pediatric dentistry at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and is a Diplomate of the American board of Pediatric Dentistry.

In 2016, Dr Matt was elected to the executive board of the Pennsylvania Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and also accepted an invitation to sit on the Geisinger Health Plan Dental Advisory Board.
When Dr. Matt is not working he enjoys spending time in the outdoors archery hunting, fly-fishing, camping, hiking and enjoys accompanying Dr. Kelly on dental mission trips to the Dominican Republic. Dr. Matt is married to his wonderful wife Meghan, and has a daughter Jillian and son Benjamin.

Dr. Chase Ellis, DDS

Dr. Chase, originally from North Carolina, obtained his D.D.S. degree at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and completed his pediatric residency at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. While at CHP, Dr. Chase was selected as the Chief Resident of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Chase took an unconventional path before finally becoming a pediatric dentist.  After receiving his B.S. in Psychology at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (Go Heels!), he traveled over the Smokey Mountains to the University of Tennessee-Knoxville where he earned his M.B.A. and M.S. in Sport Management.  There, he met his wife Jessica, and began a career working in the sports industry.  He loves basketball and spent most of his prior career as a statistics intern with the Philadelphia 76ers, and as a college basketball coach. While on his honeymoon, Dr. Chase told his wife he wanted to be a dentist.  Thankfully, she was supportive to this drastic career change, because he truly found his calling as a pediatric dentist.

Dr. Chase lives in State College with his wife  Jessica, and two children, Peyton and Logan. In his free time, he loves watching UNC Tar Heels basketball, Penn State football, all things exercise, and traveling. He is eager for he and his family to become involved in the local community for many years to come!
